IASSC International Seminar: Exploring the role of genetics data in a model of life-cycle health behavior

Dean R. Lillard, Ohio State University

Recent developments in genetics have dramatically lowered the time and expense of sequencing individual human genomes. As a result, the number of people who contribute genomic data for research purposes is growing. As this sample grows, researchers are also collecting for those same people information on social and economic behaviors

In this first IASSC International, Seminar Professor Dean R. Lillard (Ohio State University) introduces the outline of a model of dynamic health decisions that aim to incorporate genetics and yield testable prediction in the field of health behavior research.

The seminar will be held on February 20, 2020, at the University of Milano-Bicocca, Department of Sociology and Social Research, Building U7, Room 23, 3rd floor. Via Bicocca degli Arcimboldi, 8, 20126 Milano.
